Footnotes1 The railroad from Vienna's Westbahnhof to Sankt Pölten runs through Hütteldorf, Hadersdorf, then (in the Vienna Woods) Purkersdorf (10 miles=15km), Pressbaum (13 miles=20km), Rekawinkel (16 miles=25km) and then on to Eichgraben (19 miles=30km), the last four with walks to north and south of the stops. Here the party presumably left the train at Pressbaum, walked southwest to Pfalzau and Schwabendörfl, then northwest to Eichgraben, taking the train back to Vienna. |
