1 Schenker's diary for Tuesday March 30 records: "Brünauer, battered by his nerves, emits a stream of the most severe statements about Germany – a reversal, which clearly shows that no arguments will be sufficient to protect Germany’s worth from slanderous statements." — Tuesday was a fairly regular lesson day for Breisach.
