Beethoven IX. Symphonie-Arbeit
Rücksprache pflegen und zwar mit Hinblick darauf, dass ich nun das Plattenbenützungsrecht
der gesamten Orchester-Partitur der Eulenburg-Ausgabe mir gesichert habe.

It would give me great pleasure to get together with you for half an hour
in the course of the next few days. I should like specifically to discuss with you the
matter of your work on the Beethoven Ninth
Symphony, in particular in the light of the fact that I have now procured the
rights to use the plates of the entire Eulenburg edition orchestral score.

The rest when we meet, assuming you can give me a time at which either I
can speak with you on neutral territory or you might afford me the pleasure of a
visit.
