1 Receipt of this postcard is recorded in Schenker’s diary for October 21, 1931: “Von [Frau] Deutsch (K.): die Unterredung (welche?) findet erst Donnerstag statt.” (“From [Mrs.] Deutsch (postcard): the meeting (which one?) will not take place until Thursday.”).

2 A meeting between Otto Erich Deutsch, Robert Haas, Kurt Thomasberger and Wilhelm Weckbecker to discuss the prospective conferral of an honor upon Anthony van Hoboken.
